Aligarh, November 14, 2016
Aligarh Muslim University’s debating and literary Club (UDLC) conducted an inter-school quiz competition, ‘Inquizitive 2.0’ at the Kennedy Auditorium which was graced by the presence of Manzar Jamal, Director of Ayesha Tarin Trust as the chief guest.
The event commenced with an introduction about UDLC by its secretary, Wajahat Jilani, a Law student at AMU. Event saw huge participation with forty-three teams competing in the preliminary round.
Six teams qualified for the finals consisting of AMU ABK Union, The Blossoms School, Senior Secondary School (AMU) and Syed Hamid Senior Secondary School (AMU).
Participants were quizzed on the topics ranging from history and business to literature and trivia. Trophies were bagged by Mohd. Zaid, Maaz Syed and Mohd. Sabeeh Ahmad of Senior Secondary School Boys (AMU) followed by Anas Ahmad, Abbas Khan and S.A. Daniyal Mustafa of The Blossoms School as runner ups while Mohd. Aadil Akhlaque, Aazib Manzoor and Mohd. Rezaullah of Senior Secondary School Boys (AMU) stood third.
The event’s smooth functioning was ensured by the hosts, Aasif Akhlaque and Asif Khan of Engineering Faculty along with other volunteers.
It was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Rajnish Kumar Jha, a student of B.Tech. IInd year.
