Oh really History is about truth? Who puts what in history abd how and why makes it a projrct of the ruling classes and Marx was correct. Habib has a n agenda of equating all of scientific and critical research of ancinet India on par with theocracy and that is ok as long as he acknowledges . He is not even aware of his fulcrum point of critique.

Is this what JNU teaches? Attack ad homynum where reason soes not matter. Habib is not savy in Marx’s dialectical thought. I would not call him Marxist. Siding with theocrats is not what Che waould have approved, Basically Habib sides with the invading hordes of central Asia.He does not have the acumen to understand the life of Sanatani Indians and the invading theocrats . He will be liked by the west because th west is itselg under the spell of theocracy, Even Kant and Hegel are theocrats, Marx tried to break away and almost suceeded, Habib is inten on attacking the traditional Indian lebenswelt that is primarily based on experiential philosophy an epistemology of Nyaya , Vaisesika or Buddhist or Jain. How could such an incompetent person be considered a bearer of the mantle of Indian civilization.
Dr, Habib explain why all mathematics froze after Islamic rule? What universities were created by the Turkish/Uzbeck theocrats. How was ontology or epistemology studied during their rule?
Could ip go into a theocrat’s court and deny the self , deny God and deny the Koran as Nagasena did in Milinda’s court. poor You assume i am RSS member. No I am a Marxist my PhD dissertation was on Frankfurt School. Instead of accusing me find faults in my logic. Habib is not a Marxist . he is the Marxist that Marx said he did not want to be,RSS is shallow but Habib is shallower.. His inference would not ho;d water in the nyaya system of logic. Aristotelian plattitudes with no substance, How the poor have fared is not up to RSS. When did Habib ever do a peice on Indian philosophy that serves as the core modus operendi of the nation. Bush connected Iraq to 9 11 o justify his war. Habib connects RSSS to all violence.
Show your logic. Marx;s error was that he could not relate mode and relations of production to the self where the self is composed of culture that includes mode and realations of production but total samskaras. Habib’s samskaras are the Aristotelian interpretation of religion, He is viscerally ipposed to Islamic theology but his Aristotelian secularism is infested with doxa or opinion based narrative not purva paksha based.

Jp you so nit see the worship of wetern empericist philosophy in Habib. Wittgenstein says we play language games. Habib skirts around the notion that the Idea of India is what iIndians think. Plurality of humans and Gods Unifying monism and oprn debate is what makes India, not the Abrahamic prejudices of Dr. Habib
