On 28th of November, the University Debating and Literary Club (UDLC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized its second workshop on Aligarh Muslim University Model United Nation (AMU-MUN) at the smart classroom of Cultural Education Centre (CEC). Zulfiqar Sheth, a research scholar of Economics, was the mentor of the workshop.

The second phase of the workshop continued as Zulfiqar Sheth started with updating the students about the first workshop and asked the students to question about the point of information they needed. MUN workshops focus on giving students and MUN advisors a basic understanding of the General Assembly’s Rules of Procedure, the discussion and action phases of General Assembly Committee meetings.
In his lecture Sheth summarized the students about rules and concept of MUN. He also displayed the tutorial video of MUN to make students more clear about the rules and focused on the following topics:
- How to research for MUN?
- Drafting of Resolution.

- Immoderate caucus.
- Various points followed in MUN.
For making the session interesting and inspirational he played the game ‘Throwing ball into the jar’ and ‘Dot on the white sheet’. Sheth said “we have to be critical minded and should think out of the box if we are going to participate in MUN.”
